Espinoza’s Auto Service was my father’s life’s work. We grew up here. We went to school smelling like gas and oil, grease still under our nails. We played hide and seek between cars and I learned how to drive there.

My dad passed away on Feb 16, and there are no words big enough to explain what this shop meant to him - or what he meant to us.

My dad was the kind of man who gave without keeping score. If someone couldn’t afford to fix their car, he fixed it anyway. If family needed help, he showed up. If someone was trying to get back on their feet, he did what he could to help them stand again.

He didn’t just repair vehicles.
He carried people through hard times.

This shop was built with his hands, long nights, early mornings, years of sacrifice. He worked through pain. He worked through exhaustion. He worked because he loved providing, and because he believed in building something that would last longer than he would.

And when his health began to decline, my mom carried just as much weight. She took care of us. She took care of him. She did it quietly, without asking anyone for help. She held our family together with strength and dignity.

Everything we are is because of both of them. Before my dad passed, he entrusted the shop to me and my siblings. He always reminded us that the shop was built for us and our future.

He was excited for us to open this new chapter. He believed in it. He supported it. He gave it to us with love.

So this is not just a business announcement.

This is us honoring him.

Espinoza’s Auto Service will remain a private working mechanic and body shop. Rooted in real automotive craftsmanship but we are expanding it into a space for learning, creativity, and community:

This is for the man who helped people when they had nothing.
This is for the woman who carried our family through everything.
This is for their sacrifice.
This is for their legacy.

We are opening these doors with gratitude, grief, and pride.

This is for him.
With love.
